“There is no such thing as a ‘self-made’ man. We are made up of thousands of others. Everyone who has ever done a kind deed for us, or spoken one word of encouragement to us, has entered into the make-up of our character and of our thoughts, as well as our success.”

REVIEWS

  • One detail that was a major selling point for us——LONG TIME STAFF (Hence, not a lot of staff turnover)! That is one of Oak Leaf Manor’s greatest assets!!!

  • Oak Leaf Manor was the perfect place for my mother-in-law to spend the last several months of her life; I’m very glad we found it. We learned of it through a lady I work with - her father-in-law was a resident and her family was happy to recommend it to us. The staff took excellent care of my MIL, and adjusted to her evolving needs as her condition worsened. We moved her in during the Covid panic, so the facility was not as easily accessible as it was during “normal” times, but the staff did their best to make sure we could see my MIL fairly regularly. Hearthstone took much better care of my MIL than we could have done at home, plus it was conveniently located in Roswell, and the pricing was very favorable to our budget.

  • We couldn’t have found a more loving and caring place for our Mom. They care about the residents and take very good care of them. My mom is very happy here and feels blessed for the care and attention she gets. During this past year, we felt so secure in knowing that she was safe and being taken care of while we couldn't visit. I thank the Director and staff for all they did. May God bless them all for their kindness. I love this place.

  • I cannot say enough positive things about Oak Leaf Manor. The place is very small, which we did not know at the time, but this is a positive. Lisa is hands-on with all of the residents and she really loves on them and makes sure they are well cared for. We moved my mom there at a scary time in the midst of covid when seniors were the most at risk and Hearthstone did not have any cases of covid, which was pretty remarkable. The staff here is so loving and they really do treat the residents like family. Theresa and Trina are two of the kindest ladies I know and cared for my mom so well and were just so wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about Oak Leaf Manor. This is a hard decision and Lisa made it all so much easier and my family is so grateful that we were referred here.

  • Great facility and staff! This is not one of those corporate facilities, it locally owned and organic! They say “Home Away from Home” and that is exactly the case!

  • Oak Leaf Manor is a family-friendly, cozy environment that caters to the Neds of all of its residents. Residents are treated to private rooms, activities throughout the day, in-house physician visits and tender, guided care for memory-care residents. Small staff to resident ratios allow for residents to have increased interaction throughout the day and night and better attention to their needs/wants. I was impressed with the loving atmosphere.

  • Both my Husband and my Mother are residents at Oak Leaf Manor. The caring staff and homey atmosphere make it the perfect place for my loved ones. I couldn’t be more pleased.

  • My father-in-law is in Oak Leaf Manor; it is small, comfortable, and very clean. He wasn’t there very long before passing, but they were very attentive, and he enjoyed himself. The building was a little old, but it was not a detriment.

  • The staff at Oak Leaf Manor is outstanding and they really love and care for their residents. The facility is very clean and secure.

Family = Community

People pass through our lives, blowing in and out like the wind, and we don’t know how much of themselves they’ve given us until they are gone. Their presence affects us in so many beautiful, distinct ways. Like a kind smile from the past, the gentlest breeze can sometimes travel through decades during the saddest day and give us hope to live a little bit longer. We remember those quiet smiles, those lovely people who made life meaningful without us even realizing it.

People have come and gone through Oak Leaf Manor, but we remember them all fondly. We thank them as they have filled our lives and taught us to look further ahead … generations into the future.
